Linda Sue Pixler, 57 of Petersburg, MI, died Tuesday, December 2, 2014, in her home.  Born, December 31, 1956 in Akron, OH, and married John M. Pixler November 24, 1974.  Linda retired as a teacher’s aid from Monroe County ISD in 2014 after 25 years of service.  She was a member of Crossroads Community Church in Ottawa Lake, MI, where she was active in the gardening club.  Linda loved staying active and had ran 2 Rock N’ Roll half marathons in Cleveland, OH.  She was a very kind and selfless person who loved spending time with children. Her and her family vacationed in Central Lake, MI for over 40 years and fell in love with Intermediate Lake ( A little bit of Heaven).

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, John.  Children, Julie A. Pixler, Joshua (Victoria) Pixler and Adam (Juliana De la Mora) Pixler.  Brother, Jeff (Sylvia) Jones and sister, Vicki (David) Wardlow.

Visitation will be from 2-9 pm Friday, December 5, 2014, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at Crossroads Community Church, 6960 Sylvania – Petersburg Rd., Ottawa Lake, MI,  where she will lie in state after 11:00 am. Interment will be in Southern Cemetery, Central Lake, MI.  Memorials may be made to Kid’s Street at Crossroads Community Church.  www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
